The service was wonderful, they got our large group in last minute and were very accommodating. We had a gluten free order and they worked with us on that, which we appreciated! My food was good, nice spice to it and plenty of veggies. The Thai curry was a little runnier than I usually have so I would prefer it slightly thicker.

We've been here a handful of times and have our favorites. We usually order the Home Fried Rice while trying something new. On our last visit we tried a roti with curry and a Tom yum with rice noodles in it. The roti was crispy when it arrived but quickly got soft, and the curry was much thinner than expected. Both had good flavor. We're not used to noodles being an option in Tom yum soup but their soup is excellent and the noodles added substance. As always we love their fried rice. We will definitely be back again to order their fried rice and try other dishes!

The BEST Asian (Malaysian) Cuisine by far in Delaware. The food are superb (come super fast) and the service is outstanding. Food has enough seasoning as well as spices (not too spicy. Just a little kick). You'll get so much food for your money. Great for big family dinner without breaking the BANK or college students on a budget!!! The ambiance isn't too loud but I do wish they should have play some music in the background. They have so many options to choose from. Definitely return and highly recommended!!! P.S. the sushi rice is a tad dry but other than that, presentation, food, #drinks etc are very scrumptious!!!! (10 specialty rolls of chef's special is only $115) We might be back every WEEK!!!!

Located in the Shoppes at Louviers off Paper Mill Road, Newark, DE, Pinang Asian Cuisine is a fusion house that actually works. Ownership appears to be Malaysian, so there is a fair share of Roti and dipping sauces, but in addition their menu has decent representation of Japanese Sushi, Chinese American, Thai and Lao dishes, with appropriate spices to match each divergence. It may not be strong on hot lemongrass nor Szechuan black and red peppers, but they do a reasonable facsimile of most, keeping tastebuds happily engaged. The floor plan is large enough to accommodate a big crowd, with a service bar to wet the whistle. There was a large party of about 30 in the house, but that did not interfere with our service. In the mood for Thai Spicy noodles and curry, we had to adjust expectations somewhat for the more generally accepted spices used across Southeast Asia. No problem. We ordered Mixed Grill Satay and Tom Kha Soup as appetizers, followed by a large bowl of Red Curry with Chicken and Thai Basil Noodles with a request for high heat quotient. The Satay was a generous six sticks of chicken, beef and lamb with a small dish of Thai dipping sauce with crushed peanuts. More than expected and tasty all along the plate. My coconut milk based veggie Tom Kha was also a large bowl (I asked and paid for a small) that was loaded with fresh cut beans, carrot, onion, sprouts and multi colored peppers. Delicious. Literally, picked up the bowl to my lips and poured it down my gullet. My son ordered the Red Curry. I tasted it and found the flavor rich with ample heat to flirt with the tongue and lips. My Basil Noods were dark brown with plenty of Thai Basil, chicken, sprouts, etc., that while not Thai Spicy, definitely alerted my sinuses to get ready for release. Very satisfied there, too. Ambiance was softly Asian, but the clientele offered authenticity by filling the house with Malaysian and other faces. They knew a good thing when they tasted it. So did we. Prices were amazingly hospitable, as were the size of the portions on our plates. We ended up taking most of the curry and noodles home for later consumption. Happy to find a really good fusion house that knew what it was doing. No confusion here!

Hands down the best restaurant in Newark - I love this place!! After living in Indonesia for a while and visiting Malaysia, I missed the good food and this place did not disappoint! We've gone twice and ordered a bunch of different meals - all delicious! The roti canai with curry isn't too spicy and is so yummy. The Pad Thai with chicken is great, it's kind of sweet. We've also had the Kari Malaysian and Char Kway Teow - honestly my mouth is watering just thinking about it. I loved the green curry but it was super spicy (disclaimer my tolerance isn't the highest) and I had to add some coconut milk to my leftovers the next day I want to try their sushi on my next visit. The staff are so friendly, makes me miss how welcoming people were in Indonesia! The restaurant is pretty large with nice decorations and always a good amount of customers.
